An outline of the risk that requires insuring together with title/filed plan for that property.

When will I receive a response from Title & Covenant Brokers?

Generally it will be the same working day you submitted the enquiry to us.

Which Insurers do you place the risks with?

Those that meet our criteria under Standard & Poor’s and/or AM Best ratings.

What are the duration of the various policies you issue?

This will depend on the specific risk but here is a general guide:-

  1. Restrictive Covenant Insurance Policy – in perpetuity
  2. Defective Title Insurance Policy – in perpetuity
  3. Judicial Review Insurance Policy – duration of the Judicial Review period
  4. Chancel Repair Insurance Policy – can be either fixed for 25/30 years or in perpetuity

Once I am happy for you to proceed with the policy what is the mechanism for payment?

We are licensed by the FSA to hold and control client monies. The premium is sent to us within 7 days of going on cover. Title & Covenant Brokers then pay the relevant insurer.
